Overall, the customer service and labor provided was exceptional. The Production Manager, Steve, and his crew were very professional and provided excellent customer service. An open line of communication with us was always kept and we were routinely provided updates on the progress of the project. In addition, the work they completed (including support beams, walls, floors, trim, electrical work and doors) was done beautifully. The project was very customized to accomodate our short ceilings, odd angles and piping. The work is flawless and they have transformed our 1920's basement into a beautiful recreation room, which we are thoroughly enjoying!

To whom it may concern,   I had the great pleasure of having Steve Kaus and his team finish my basement. Steve and his crew transformed our concrete floors and walls into a beautiful living area and bathroom. We could not be anymore satisfied with the finished product.   My husband and I have had a lot of work done to our homes in the past few years and it seems that every project we have had. There has been some issue with the contractor we would hire and/or the work that was done. We were very nervous and searched long and hard before hiring anyone to tackle this large, expensive project. Once again, we started this project with a lot of worry and stress because of the lack of communication and understanding with our original project lead. However, after some discussions with the company we hired, we were reassigned to Steve and his team and it was a breath of fresh air. From the second Steve took over, our voices were immediately heard and every need we had was met. Steve arrived for his first visit and very thoroughly went over what would be done, how it would be done, was very forthcoming with what to expect regarding costs, and ensured EVERY question I had was answered. He was very easy to communicate with, and was available by phone every time I needed him. If I came to him with any "issues," it was immediately looked into and taken care of. Steve went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I were nothing but happy with our basement.   Although Steve was not visible at all times, his team was just as trustworthy and hardworking as he. Being 8-9 months pregnant during this project, home alone with my two year old daughter; it can be nerve wrecking to have strangers in and out of your home every day. I never once felt uncomfortable with the team that was there. They were nothing but polite, clean, and courteous. I felt safe being there alone, along with leaving the guys alone at the house if I had to run an errand. Eric Fitscher and the other men were always quick to answering any questions I had, and if the couldn't, making sure that they would find an answer for me. Every day they would update me with their progress, let me know what to expect next, and cleaned up after themselves. On top of that, the quality of their work was elite. They left nothing unfinished and made sure everything was aesthetically pleasing.   We have never had such a good experience with having work done on our house before. The finished project was better than we could have ever imagined and the process to get there was so easy on us once Steve and his crew arrived. Project Manager and Installation Crew were very attentive to our comments/needs during the project. They certainly stand behind the quality of their products and back that with an extended warranty. 

I was most impressed with the contracting crew. They were impecably neat and took great care even to the smallest detail. I have never seen a group of work men who were so polite and well-mannered. i can't say enough about how wonderful they were! Also, the work was completed exactly on schedule. I have never had work done so efficiently even when, "little extras," were added. Very impressed!

I'm most pleased with the finished work! George did a fine job.

After previously working with other construction companues, our experience with TBF of WNY was a very plesant one, to which I Thank Them! :) Our basement looks so good! The construction crew was always on time, consistantly working and making visable progress in our basement. We chose TBF after frequent visits at home shows and stopping at the TBF booth and talking with reps from the company, and we were not disappointed with the work that they did for us.

I have been following Total Basement Finishing of WNY through the home shows for a while. My husband and I had extensive waterproofing work done last year, so it was time to finish the basement and make it look good again. TBF of WNY is the perfect solution for basement finishing. I am very satisfied with our decision to have this work done. I cna't say enough good things about everyone that I spoke with, the person who took my call was courteous and kept me well informed of what was going on. The sales person Tood was very helpful and really explained the options that we could choose form.  And we have the highest praise for installation! Josh was very courteous, professional, and explained the process as we moved along through it. He cleaned everything up very well. We are very satisfied with our decision to have Total Basement Finishing finish our basement for us.

The first impression of the company was great, the Design Specialist was outgoing and knowledgeable of the company. He totally sold the project.  There were some issues during the project but the end result was great. The Installation Crew did an excellent job on making sure I was happy with the end results. I was very comfortable with having the crew in my home as they were polite and friendly.

The personnel I dealt with were personable and knowledgeable. The work supervisor reevaluated my dehumidifying/air filtration needs and adjusted the plan so that the integrity of my, "recreation room," walls was not compromised. The installers worked steadily and left a very clean space. I was completely satisfied with the flooring, trim and air quality work done.

The Installer is a perfectionist. He cares about every aspect of the job. I couldn't be happier with his work and my finished basement. When I met with the Design Specialist Julie Smythe I was convinced Total Basement Finishing was a "buttoned up" company, I would reccomend them.

I was initially impressed by your work once I saw my sister-in-law's bathroom. I requested the phone number and immediately gave you a call. Service has been A1 from beginning to end. There wa plenty of communication so that the job would be done to my satisfaction. I a very happy with the results and would definitely refer someone to your business. I chose Total Basement Finishing because they are able to do all aspects of the basement, they could do it quickly, and the materials that they use for flooring and wall board are better than anywhere else I found.  The final project looked great, and the Coordinator offered suggestions to streamline the job which I really appriciated. The sales guy did a good job spending time to go over the whole product line which really helped me choose here. And the installation crew were knowledgable.  Total Basement wored within our timetable as we had to delay the project due to our water damage. Their crew was always timely and dependable and worked to our schedule.

I picked TBF because of the images on their website and the financing options that they offer.  They are pricy but do excellent work. The start of our project went a little rocky with some communication issues; but Mike (the owner of the company) called us and after that things improved dramatically. He helped us by giving us a project manager that talked with us more about our basement project and things were great. The installer in particular was ver conscientious and personable, and his work was great. We would consider TBF for any more remodeling that we do.
