Had sump pit expanded and deepened and new pump installed. Work done on time, neatly, and efficiently. Did not disrupt our routine. Area is clean and upgraded. It is something that does not show itself, but we know the importance of this thing. We have an old, old field stone basement and water is always an issue. The new pit is larger and should cut down on wear for the pump, a battery backup system that give peace of mind for the power outages that come usually in heavy and crazy storms, as Baltimore sometimes gets these.

We have a pretty serious water issue under our home with a high water table and underground river that left our old sump pump gasping during 2018's heavy rains in Maryland. We found peace of mind by getting one of their dual sump pumps systems that has the backup just in case, and it has worked perfectly ever since. Their teams are professional and courteous and got the job done, and we thank them for their efforts!

Pete Westera's Basement Systems did an amazing job waterproofing our Federal Hill church crawl space. It was not an easy job at all being in an old building and being in the city. The crew was very knowledgeable and knew the right thing to do in some very difficult and complicated situations.

Although the job was expensive, I consider it a tremendous deal for the amount of work they performed. The quality of their work is quite impressive. It far exceeded my expectations. All around, this company is a delight to work with and I highly recommend them for any basement waterproofing needs. The basement is now bone dry. I can also rest easy knowing that the work is guaranteed and transferable with the sale of the property, something that will be appealing to a home buyer. This company is a class act.

To my relief (and surprise), the salesman/estimator was very straightforward and willing to discuss options/ best solutions with me, without pressuring me to automatically purchase the most expensive system.  He was clearly very knowledgeable and was patient and courteous throughout our meeting. From the beginning I met with the salesman David Ryan who was very knowledgeable and respect and thorough in evaluating the problem that we had for years in the basement . We went with the high-tech humidifier that they have and boy what a difference it is making with the moisture problem we had for all these years In our basement . And the installation crew was fabulous very knowledgeable very respectful they put the little booties on their feet to keep the rug from getting all dirty and they were in and out in primetime they were on time couldn't say enough about the crew . Also got a follow up call from Pete the owner which I thought was very personal . I would recommend this company to anybody.
