Before and after we waterproofed and encapsulated this crawl space.
We sealed off the leaky concrete walls in this basement out in Kingston, NY using our CleanSpace Wall System. This pliable, waterproof barrier prevents water vapor from being able to pass through your foundation walls and into your basement. We placed it directly behind our WaterGuard System, which we installed around the perimeter of the concrete slab. This interior drainage system collects any water seeping through your walls using its built-in wall flange. Now thanks to our products, the leaky walls in this basement are an issue of the past!
A homeowner in Saugerties, NY called us to take care of their dirty crawl space that had been giving them issues for 12 years. This crawl space was wreaking havoc and causing the upper portion of the home to have a musty or moldy smell. To eliminate the problem, we encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace Encapsulation System and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System serves as a barrier and seals off the crawl space from the earth, preventing water vapor from entering. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier takes up to 100 pints of water out of your crawl space air per day, making the air nice and dry, which causes that damp smell to go away.
This homeowner in Highland, NY had a crawlspace with a dirt floor and moisture issues. The insulation was also falling apart, indicating that it was absorbing water.
Overall, it was not a great environment, and that is exactly why the homeowner contacted us to help them. Our crew knew that our CleanSpace Encapsulation System and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier would offer the solutions this homeowner was looking for. The CleanSpace encapsulation liner is made of 20mil reinforced polymer that is resistant to wear and tears. It is designed to prevent water vapor from passing through and into your crawlspace. Mold growth and mildew growth are not supported by this liner either.
We also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to purify the air and keep it dry within the crawlspace. It is extremely efficient and is capable of removing up to 100 pints of water in a single day. This dehumidifier also moves dry air out and around your crawlspace, so you don’t have to worry about damp air infiltrating the other areas of your home. It even filters particles out of the air that are smaller than any mold spore or dust mite dropping, ensuring your air is clean and safe to breathe in!
When our team was done, this homeowner experienced peace of mind knowing their crawlspace was safe and dry.
