Meghan Kinter spent over two decades in the nonprofit world working mainly in the "eds, the meds, and the Feds" as she likes to say — education, health care, and the government. Along the way she wore a lot of hats: corporate trainer, university professor, strategic planner, and marketing consultant, tackling everything from behavioral health to domestic violence prevention— and loved every complicated, meaningful minute of it. But when the opportunity came to bring those same skills to the private sector, she took the leap, joining DBC as Director of Sales and Marketing. For a former house flipper who has never met a home improvement project she didn't want to take on, it felt like the right next chapter. She also serves as Partner/CEO of Well Rooted Life, Founder of Maddie's Voice, and an teacher of mindset, strategy, culture and communication.
The roles she's most proud of, though, are being Mom to six humans and three pups and wife to a very patient husband, who often "volunteers" to help with her hair-brained ideas and hobbies — including maple syrup making, hobby homesteading, and never-ending home improvement projects. She has a doctorate and master's in Organizational Learning and Leadership and a bachelor's in public relations with a focus in psychology/human resources. She loves Jesus, coffee, a good strategy, and Ancestry.com.
