Our Overall Service
Overall the experience was a good one. Like any contracted job it is reliant on communication. For the most part we were kept informed during the build process and follow-up. There was a gap between initial contract to day 1 building that would have benefited by more updates on where we were in their job queue. Once we got to the build phase all things were outstanding, professional and fully recommended.
Call Representative
Working with the team at TBF was solid. Very pleasant, informative and helpful with questions and concerns.
Sales Process
Our primary contacts changed from our initial conversations at the Buffalo Home Show to the end of the project. We had different sales rep and architect before the build phase started. This led to the limited communication as they worked to assign new people to our job. Once the new people were in place, things went smoothly. Kudos to Josh for his ownership of our project to get what we needed, organized and revised promptly and professionally.
Our Installation Crew
This was the shining star of our time with TBF. Joe and his crew were outstanding. They were very knowledgeable not only of their product, but of construction and craftsmanship in general. They took time each day to walk me through what their tasks were, the completion goals, and a review of their work before they left for the day. They kept the job site extremely clean, which showed they took pride in their work. They ensured that our house was protected by putting down floor coverings, leveraging our egress window and minimizing any damage to our property. Joe and team went above and beyond working with us through the process and any follow-up necessary. When recommending TBF it’s Joe and crew that set them apart!
The Cleanup Process
Each day Joe and crew cleaned their job site, organized their materials and made as minimal impact to our home and property as possible. This made any final clean up a breeze because it was taken care of daily and not something left to the end.

Basement Finishing

What made you choose our company:

Our initial meeting was at the Buffalo Home Show. The discount from that home show helped our decision to even entertain the idea to finish our basement. The primary reason was the materials that were used. Their unique floor and wall system that not only is water and moisture "friendly", but easy to replace. Additionally the 50 year warranty gave us peace of mind that should anything happen, we are covered by the company. Once we learned of the quick build time, and the timeline to start our project, we made the decision to go with TBF and not even look at other traditional basement construction.
