Quality 1st Basement Systems was contacted by a homeowner in Lodi, New Jersey to replace their old sump pump. We installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System which provides three levels of protection, and also comes with a backup battery in case of power outages. Since the installation, the homeowner's peace of mind has been restored and their basement remains dry and healthy! 

Quality 1st Service Technician Justin visited the Port Deposit homeowner to provide the recommended annual maintenance on the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. As the liner can accumulate dirt and sediment as ground water passes through the system, Justin cleaned the primary 1/3 hp cast-iron Zoeller pump as well as the secondary 1/2 hp pump and the UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump. Justin cleared the breather holes, changed the check valves, cleaned the pump stands and liner, and checked to ensure there were no blockages in the discharge line. The system was once again in top notch condition to provide a wet basement solution with protection from ground water intrusion!

This Lanoka Harbor townhouse basement had water leaking in through the walls and floor joints. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed WaterGuard basement waterproofing system in conjunction with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the walls. The WaterGuard prevents water from entering into the basement through the floors. The CleanSpace vapor barrier will stop water from coming into the basement through the walls by draining the water to the WaterGuard. This basement is now bright, dry, and clean!

A homeowner in Lacey Township, New Jersey was experiencing a lot of humidity in the crawl space and contacted Quality 1st for a solution.

Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and recommended the crawl space be encapsulated. CleanSpace vapor barrier system was installed on the crawl space floors and walls to keep water vapor and humidity out. With CleanSpace installed this ensures the crawl space stays warm and dry.  

A homeowner in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey was experiencing water getting into their basement. There can be many causes to this and one of them is moisture coming from the soil and traveling up into the air in the crawl space. Another reason could be the poorly compacted soil around the home's foundation. Over time this soil becomes saturated and creates hydrostatic pressure, pushing water through the walls.

The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Joseph Mancini, provided an inspection and suggested they install a vapor barrier system. Our foreman, Juan Garcia, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System which is durable and thick like a pool liner. This system seals the crawl space from the earth and is mold-proof and water-proof. The foreman installs it by removing uneven surfaces and debris, carefully fits and installs the liner, and permanently holds it in place with drilled-in fasteners. Now, the homeowner has a dry and clean space, which is perfect for storage.
