Finishing your basement is the most affordable way to increase your home's living space. But doing this construction work with standard "above-grade" materials is a recipe for disaster —in the form of mold, mildew and ongoing moisture problems. Total Basement Finishing eliminates these problems by only using waterproof, mold-resistant materials that are designed specifically for basement environments.

Search Request: basement water proofing

Comment: Water coming in basement when it rains heavily. Part of the basement is under ground (front facing of house). This is the area it is coming in. Has been doing this for years and need to get it repaired. The effected area has recently been painted with a barrier sealant. This has helped but not at all fixed the problem when lots of water is involved. I know exterior drainage is needed to divert water from coming in the basement. It only effects the lower end of the basement.
