Does the TBF system support mold growth?

TBF basement finishing products are warranted never to grow mold, rot or get ruined when exposed to moisture. Most are 100% waterproof, non-absorbent and mold resistant. They also serve as a vapor barrier which prevents moisture from the walls and slab from evaporating into the basement.

However, there are no guarantees that the TBF system alone will keep the basement dry enough as to prevent mold from growing on other surfaces, such as furniture, upholstery, fabrics or paper.
