The guys left a few hours ago.  They did a great job doing the installation.  The final product was installed cleanly and professionally.  When they got here they realized that the specified location for the new pump wouldn't work (nowhere to discharge), so they chose a good location that allowed sufficient drainage away from the house.  They did a good job explaining what they were going to do before they did it, and then explaining what they did and going through the proper operation of the pump system.  Now I feel much more confident about our basement staying dry than I ever did with our old, single-point-of-failure pump.
