Comment: I would like to finish my basement for a home that I am buying. I am on a budget. There was some work did to it but not sure if was done right. I would like a bedroom, media, family room, and even a samll wet bar that can sit at least three people, and for you to refinish the existing bathroom, The basement I want to be an extension of the home because I do not like to be in the basement, but would like to start being in it more. The square footage of basement is about 1237 square feet.

Comment: After the Aug. 11th storm drain backup, the basement was gutted. I am getting ready to have a partially finished basement again. Thinking about painting the ceiling joists white instead of dropping the already low ceiling. Interested in the wall and floor finishing systems and design ideas.

Comment: I have lived in my home for 10 years now and have desired to have my basement redone with finishing system design. I want to transform the space into a family room/den/office type space. I also have a half bath that I would like to have redone as well. My basement is approx. 950 square feet. I am interested in getting an estimate so that I can arrange for financing.

Comment: Unfinished basement. Asbestos tiles. Faux wood walls. Cinderblock walls. Looking into removing tiles, possibly moving wood walls, and dry-walling cement walls. Last summer I had it water-proofed and had no issues since then.

Comment: This is a home that is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I'd like to have approximately, 600 sq. feet (of a 1700 sq foot basement) finished off (bedroom with closet, living area), plus install of a full bathroom, lighting, etc. I need this work to be completed in late June. The home will be completely built in mid-June by the builder. I need this project to start soon after the build is completed. I would like a Saturday estimate appointment if possible, or later evening during the week, 6pm or later. I would only like to be emailed, not called. Thank you, Steph

Comment: I am curious about the main ducts for the HVAC as they run through the middle of the basement and hang about 12" lower than the floor joists. Also wondered if there is any way to reinforce the main "I" beam in a way that you could remove one of the posts to open up the area. And my last concern, of course, is cost!
